  • For retrieving an email in Outlook, two conditions are needed to meet: (a) both you and the recipient must be active users of Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Exchange (b) the email must have been sent.
  • You might be scratching your head around why you can’t see the ‘Recall This Message’ option, well, if that is the case, there can be two plausibilities:-
  1. The feature to recall isn’t available within your organization.
  2. You don’t happen to have an Outlook Exchange Account.
  • The recalling feature isn’t available for the messages that are on Outlook Web or are protected via Azure Information Protection.
  • The recall option is not active for POP Accounts or MAPI Accounts.
